Black Jack - Osamu Tezuka

You guys know about Osamu Tezuka?

He's the God of Manga. The father of all mangaka. He's so great and full of epic ideas.

Okay, here it is. He made a series about a genius surgeon but unlicensed. The surgeon's name is Black Jack. And the title of the manga is also Black Jack (from the main character's name).

The story is about Black Jack, a genius surgeon without license saving patients. Black Jack often faced with a crazy situations, however he usually managed to get through the situations.
Once when he was a boy, he accidentally went to an island which still had many undetonated bombs. And you know what happened next. KABOOM!
His mother died and Black Jack body was torn into pieces, he would be dead if Dr. Honma (another genius) didn't save him. So most of his childhood was used to recover his body functions to its original.
Then, because of Dr. Honma, Black Jack decided to become a surgeon.

Black Jack lived with a young girl, who is actually a tumor (teratoma), named Pinoko (based on Pinokio). Pinoko thinks of herself as Black Jack's wife. But, I think Black Jack thought of her more of a daughter. Of course, because he made her! Not biologically, because he didn't have any wives, but he made her through operation. And it's so WOW because how can a human gives life to another human??? That's why this is called an anime or manga or story or fiction. Because it wasn't real. But it really looks real. Maybe, the character or the story plot. Oh, anyway. Tezuka is great!
